First time on Indian roads, the sexiest supercar, Ferrari 458 Italia. In the latest discussion, it has been aimed to reassert the brand’s dominance in a sector again where it used to reign supreme. As, Mercedes has gate crashed the party with the gulinlwg SLS, and thus McLaren will arrive fashionably late next year with its MP4-12C. In all such latest advancements, some major car companies have introduced Ferrari 458 Italia, which is a brilliant model.
First, the test is conducted on the raw figures, which promise dizzying performance with 4.5 litres, seven gears, eight cylinders and 562bhp. Ensuring, Italia would be the ace in the pack in a game of Top Trumps. Performance of this car is scintillating and 0-62mph takes only 3.4 seconds. The 458 will go on to hit a top speed of 202mph– faster than the existing legendary F40.
Unlike its renowned ancestor, the Ferrari 458 doesn’t look like a racing car for the road. Its sleek outline was polished in the wind tunnel and features horizontal slats in the front air intakes which move downwards at speed to improve its aerodynamics. Also, fitted with a flat under tray and diffuser, which help to generates 360kg of downforce at 202mph.
